Meltdown #3 for the Brains tribe. |
We start out with Morgan on Beauty, who's asking some great questions in an attempt to throw Jeremiah under the bus. "When did you change your mind?" she asks, later telling LJ and the other girls that he originally planned on targeting LJ. Good for you, Morgan. I knew I liked you for a reason.
On Brains, the castaways are still despondent, but things are looking up. They didn't have to go to tribal last night, and it's time for a reward. Sadly, at the reward challenge, despite LJ taking some hits to the groin and the Brawn tribe working as slowly as possible (actually, that happens later), J'Tia once again fails spectacularly.
"Does, like, the rooster have to get it on with one of the hens to make eggs?" |
Instead of enjoying some delicious scrambled eggs, Aparri is ready for a blindside. Sarah, still under Tony's spell, convinces Trish and half-convinces Woo to throw the immunity challenge to take out Cliff, who she believes is targeting her.
Tasha and Kass finally decide to jettison J'Tia. |
And they throw the challenge, and Cliff is voted out. What's that? He isn't? Oh yeah, because LUZON SUCKS! Despite trying their hardest to throw the challenge to the Brains tribe, J'Tia catches it and throws it right back (much better than she threw the balls).
At Tribal Council, Tasha and Kass finally decide to jettison J'Tia and end her hilarious and ill-fated run on Survivor.
Time for three burning questions!
1) Did Kass and Tasha make the right decision?
They should have kept J'Tia. |
2) Which came first, the chicken or the egg?
Well, we could have a long debate involving science, but let's consult the episode instead. LJ insists that the egg came first, so because I don't like LJ, let's disagree with him. The chicken came first, LJ! Dinosaurs came before dinosaur eggs (or did they) and chickens evolved from dinosaurs (maybe), so therefore the chicken came before the egg. As a side note, did they blur the chicken head in Jeremiah's hand?
Cliff and Morgan seem like the obvious next boots otherwise. |
Before seeing the previews, I would have said that things would go just like they did in the Philippines, with Luzon being absorbed into the other two tribes. But (possibly because there are 3 people on Brains) it looks like all three tribes are being switched around, which I actually think I like better. I don't usually like tribe swaps, but I think we need to breath some new life into Brawn and Beauty, because Cliff and Morgan seem like the obvious next boots otherwise.
That's it for tonight's recap; check back hopefully tomorrow for my podcast scrutiny of the episode with Ethan!
