The real drama and scrambling took place on the Solana beach tonight. |
I have to say, I was flabbergasted. I had this all thought out and was sure that Luzon was going to be Matsinged...and my power rankings this week, which I didn't post in lieu of my Big Brother preview, backed that prediction. I had Brice at number 7, the highest in Beauty and only below Brawn. Shows how much I know.
So the real drama and scrambling took place on the Solana beach tonight: LJ found the idol, and Morgan and Brice were trying to get Jeremiah to stick with them to vote out Alexis. The majority alliance was determined to split the vote between Morgan and Brice and then vote out the latter. Disappointingly, Jeremiah stuck with the majority and Brice, who I was really starting to like, was booted.
Alright, now for the three questions of the week.
1) How bad was that monsoon, really?
Typhoon Maring and Tropical Storm Trami devastated the Philippines throughout July and August of last year. |
So could this cause a quit? Jefra was already showing cracks tonight, and I think any one of J'Tia, Cliff, or Lindsey could also be a candidate. Hopefully not, but we'll see.
2) Will Cops 'R Us be successful?
It's pretty hard to say at this point, but I'm really liking the alliance between Tony and Sarah. It was definitely the right move for Tony to expose his "blue blood" to Sarah, who bought the alliance hook, line, and sinker.
Sarah is really smart though, and I'm banking on her to win, so I'm not liking seeing her manipulated by the scheming Tony, although I like him too.
In terms of alliances, though, Cops 'R Us is here to stay. No matter who the duo chooses to target, I have no doubt that person will go home. Cliff and Lindsey are in trouble...
3) Is Aparri as good (or bad) as Tandang?
Aparri will not be as good as Tandang and will lose at least one person before the merge, whether it's through Tribal or a quit. |
That's all for tonight, folks. Check in over the next few days for an audio scrutiny with Ethan recapping the episode, as well as analysis of the premiere for Big Brother Canada 2. Stay tuned!
